We have different opportunities to worship during the week.
People meet for prayer every Wednesday evening in the Sanctuary at 8pm. We pray for many issues: those affecting our world, our nation, our church and our lives.
We have a prayer cross in the conservatory. If anyone needs us to pray for something, please write the prayer request on the prayer slips beside the cross, and leave your prayer at the foot of the cross. We will pray for it.
We have a monthly healing service on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the sanctuary. This is an informal worship service where the emphasis is on coming as we are into the presence of God, full of hope in His love and faithfulness and His power to heal.
The service begins with an extended time of praise and worship songs as we come away from the busyness of our day. Then time for testimony, sharing our healing stories. We finish by bringing forward our written prayers for others who need God’s healing touch and some closing worship. Lastly there is time to receive prayer for healing if that is what you want and the opportunity to have some refreshments while you chat with others.
The service itself begins at 7.30pm and lasts just over an hour; but the time for ministry will go on as long as people need it to.
Home groups are smaller gatherings of people who meet together in someones home, to study the Bible and to pray. Although we are seeking to expand our Home Group network, we currently have 3 active home groups:
- 2 which meet monthly.
- 1 which meets fortnightly (specifically for those in their 20’s and 30’s)
If you would like to know more about our home groups, you can contact our minister.
