Remembrance Sunday

With the 100th Anniversary of the beginning of World War 1, there are many special commemorations and events taking place, some have been held already. In Clincarthill we held a very special service of prayer on the 4th August at 10.00 pm, which was well attended, giving time for prayer and reflection on this from our congregations’ of the past who died in the conflict. There will be an opportunity on Sunday 9th November to plant a cross in the garden outside the conservatory entrance, commemorating the fallen of both wars, names from our memorial and people from your own family. A small donation is asked for if you wish to plant a cross. Poppies are also available in the vestibule and conservatory areas.
